Royal Volvo presents Cocktails in The Gardens

August 16, September 13, October 18

Royal Volvo in conjunction with Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens and the Cocktails in The Gardens Steering Committee are launching a new series of Garden Parties. Cocktails in The Gardens, scheduled for three Thursday evenings this fall: August 16, September 13 and October 18. Parties will begin at 5:00 p.m. and last 'until.

Guests can expect themed hors d'ouevres by A Social Affair Catering, cash bar, wine and beer provided by Birmingham Beverage. Flower magazine will sponsor an arts & crafts table as well. Signature drinks will include “Mint & Mojitos” (August), “Tea Olives & 'Tinis” (September) and "Pumpkins & Pomegranates” (October). Live music will be presented by Birmingham's own, "Peanut." Admission is free to Members of Birmingham Botanical Gardens and $5 for Non-members. Who: Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens is pleased to announce their new garden party series, “Cocktails in The Gardens.”

What: Members and Non-members of Birmingham Botanical Gardens are invited to enjoy live music, signature cocktail, cash bar, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and optional craft. All ages are welcome; we anticipate most of the audience to be in the 20 – 40 year old age bracket.

When: Three fall Thursdays, August 16th, September 13th and October 18th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Where: The Rushton Garden at Birmingham Botanical Gardens. This secluded garden is tucked behind the Library with ready access to inside facilities in the event of bad weather.

Why: To raise awareness about Birmingham Botanical Gardens and encourage membership.

Cost: Free to Members of Birmingham Botanical Gardens / Non-Members $5 at the door.
